Celebrating Neighborhood Architecture

The Denver Architectural Foundation invites you to celebrate Denver’s unique architectural landscape by taking part in the 10th Anniversary of Doors OPEN Denver. This free event gives you the opportunity to experience the built environment in 12 neighbohoods and visit many buildings that are typically not open to the public.  Each year, thousands of attendees tour Denver’s prominent architectural treasures and other smaller spaces, including civic buildings, mansions, hotels, museums, churches and schools.

Theme: Celebrating Neighborhood Architecture
Denver is a city of Neighborhoods.  This weekend you are invited to enjoy what different neighborhoods have to offer.  Individuals are encouraged to create their own Architectural Urban Adventure seeking out new and unfamiliar places, taking kids inside eye-popping sites and meeting with friends at some hard-to-find new or rare old buildings.  A photo contest, and biking and walking tours and other activites are also scheduled.
