Athmar Park Library
The library will be providing a walk-in builder craft. Enjoy displays about the history of the building.

Bindery on Blake
Personalized tours will be given every half hour throughout the weekend, each with an emphasis on how the existing historic structure was preserved and how new spaces were created to yield a highly sustainable, flexible and collaborative working environment. Additionally, there will be numerous displays of projects currently in design, showing some of Denver's most remarkable new developments in their embryonic stage.


Blair Caldwell African American Research Library
The library will be providing docent tours. Enjoy displays about the history of the building.


Boettcher Concert Hall
The hall will be open on Saturday, April 29 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Saturday's dress rehearsal is between 9:00 AM and 12:30 PM, and patrons are encouraged to enter the hall quietly and listen to rehearsal. Enjoy a special meet-the-conductor time backstage at 10:30 AM. On Sunday April 30, the hall is open from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with soundcheck between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Patrons are welcome to go inside the hall during this time period, but please do so quietly.


Buell Theatre
Look around inside the house and see Actor’s Alley (Backstage Poster Tour).


Byers-Evans House Museum
The museum is offering brief guided tours through several rooms of the first floor, including the music room, which still has the wallpaper, finishes and furnishings from the last renovation in 1912. Visitors will also see the dining room, which features stained glass, Arts and Crafts wallpaper, Bacarat crystal and Haviland China custom made for Margaret Evans, wife of Colorado’s second territorial governor. Tours will last ten to fifteen minutes.


Byron White Courthouse
The courthouse is offering self-guided tours throughout its public spaces, including the museum space and the new and historic court rooms will be provided. Each part of the building will be staffed with a court staff member, who will serve as an expert guide and present a short narrative regarding that space. Enjoy building construction photograph displays as well.


Capitol Hill Mansion
Enjoy private tours of the mansion. 


Cass Mansion
The mansion is offering tours that include a History Wall of framed documents and photographs going back to its construction.


Castle Marne Bed & Breakfast 
Enjoy 30 minute guided tours with special information on architect William Lang and Wyman Historic District.


Clyfford Still Museum
The museum is offering free, 30 minute art and architectural tours on Saturday at 11:00AM, 1:00PM, and 3:00PM. Tours are limited to 30 people each, first come first served. On Sunday the museum celebrates Día del Niño with a special family day. Participate in art-making activities in the Museum’s forecourt and explore the Museum’s galleries. All ages are welcome.


The CELL (The Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab)
Enjoy guided tours on both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00AM to 11:00AM and 2:00PM to 3:00PM, as well as free admission for self-guided tours on both days between 11:00AM and 4:00PM.


DaVita World Headquarters
Enjoy access to the first and fourteenth floors. Tours of the fourteenth floor will take place every 15 minutes from 11:15AM to 2:45PM.


Denver Animal Shelter
The shelter is offering tours throughout both Saturday and Sunday.


Denver Central Library

Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce
Celebrating their 150th anniversary in 2017, the Chamber is offering information about the building’s history and their role in the Denver metro area since 1867. They will share details about the building and its sustainable features including their art collection‚ which is a unique aspect of the building that features more than 80 pieces from contemporary western artists.

Denver Woman’s Press Club / The Burr House
Enjoy art from the original owner, George Elbert Burr, which hangs in the club’s main room.


Eisenhower Chapel
View photos and memorabilia from the former Air Force Base, a video of the history of Lowry Air Force Base, and a slide show of art and historic buildings in Lowry.

The church is offering main level and sanctuary tours. View building models and listen to organ music from the largest pipe organ between Chicago and Salt Lake City.


First Church of Christ, Scientist
The church organist will be playing and demonstrating the historically significant pipe organ.


Governor’s Residence at the Boettcher Mansion
Volunteer docents will be on hand to provide information about the home as well as answer questions. Enjoy a timeline display in the Carriage House, which tells the history of the home.


Grant Avenue Church
On Saturday, the church is offering a Ukulele Orchestra performance at 10:00AM and a performance from the Colorado Honor Band Jazz Ensemble at 2:00PM. On Sunday, enjoy a classical music performance from a Brass Quintet at 3:00PM.

The Growhaus
Tours of the space will be offered while discussing community education and involvement.


Highlands Masonic Temple
Enjoy historical tours of the building and Masons along with light refreshments.


Historic Elitch Gardens Theatre
The theatre is offering tours, lectures, displays, entertainment, and an Antique Roadshow, which is an opportunity to see some of Elitch Garden’s memorabilia.


History Colorado Center
The center will open its doors for free admission on Sunday. While at the museum, visit the newest exhibit, Backstory: Western American Art in Context.


Horse Barn / Posner Center for International Development 
Enjoy tours of the building, which feature information on the history, architecture, and recent renovation of the physical property, as well as an overview of the work of the Posner Center, which is the current occupier of building, and the programming that takes place here.


Hotel Teatro / Tramway Building
Enjoy access to the Chancellor Suite on the eighth floor.


Lighthouse Writers Workshop / Milheim House
Enjoy self-guided tours, along with conversations with volunteer docents about certain areas and aspects of the house. Architecturally based writing prompts will be offered, as well as materials (paper/pens) for DOD participants to write with if they choose. Participants will be encouraged to submit to Lighthouse’s place-making project, Write Denver, where submissions have the chance of being “published” in one of Write Denver’s public literary art installations.


Masonic Temple
The temple is providing multiple display areas with five to ten minute presentations, given by knowledgeable docents who will be happy to answer questions.


Montclair Civic Building (The Molkery)
Enjoy a display of historic photographs and documents, and chat with staff on site who are knowledgeable of the building’s history.


Our Merciful Savior Episcopal Church
View information displays pertaining to the church’s history, architecture, and organ. Enjoy organ concerts throughout the day.


Overland Cotton Mill
Tours will be offered by company employees trained in the history of the company, as well as the history and legacy of the building. Brochures describing the use and history of the property will also be available.

The firm will have current Colorado architectural projects displayed for viewing and discussion.

Congregational members will be giving tours of the main areas of the church: Sanctuary, Lukens Wing, Grant Hall, Brady Room, grounds and columbarium, and the new classrooms and renovated rooms on the second floor: Sunday School East, Youth Group South, Youth Group North, Godly Play nursery, Sunday School West, and Foster Chapel. The church will also post descriptions and/or provide maps with descriptions of each area for self-guided tours and for hearing impaired people. William Havu Gallery
Enjoy the current gallery show: paintings, watercolors, and drawings by Santa Fe artist, Jeanette Pasin Sloan, as well as original prints from Landfall Press, sculpture by Scarlett Kanistanaux, and landscape photos by Katy Tartakoff. Digital fabrication/3D print artist and Regis University art instructor, Judy Gardner, will have a 3D printer at the gallery and will be demonstrating 3D printing between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM during Open Doors Denver. Judy's large scale 3D printed botanical work will be exhibited in the gallery from June 23rd through August 5th.
